Duties
- Assist client with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support to promote comfort and independence, as well as providing support for a young child (client's)
- Administer medications accurately following care plans and document all medication-related activities diligently
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
- Support client with mobility and transfers using proper techniques to ensure safety for both the client and yourself
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning living areas, laundry, and maintaining a hygienic environment
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans and report any changes in client condition promptly
Experience
- Previous assisted living or nursing home experience is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with senior care protocols
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or dementia enhances your ability to deliver specialized support
- Proven caregiving experience that includes medication administration, meal preparation, and home care tasks
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks such as lifting, transferring, and assisting clients with mobility challenges
- Knowledge of infection control practices and basic cleaning procedures to maintain a safe environment

Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour
