Duties
- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Medication Reminders according to care plans and document all medication activities
- Support clients with meal preparation, ensuring nutritional needs are met and dietary restrictions are followed
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
- Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a tidy living workplace
- Support clients during outings or appointments to maintain their independence and social engagement
- Observe and report any changes in health status or behavior to healthcare professionals promptly
Skills
- Prior experience in assisted living or nursing home environments is highly valued
- Strong background in senior care and working with individuals with disabilities or dementia
- Excellent caregiving skills with a compassionate, patient approach
- Ability to perform cleaning tasks efficiently while maintaining hygiene standards
- Effective meal preparation skills tailored to individual dietary needs
- Good communication skills to interact empathetically with clients, families, and healthcare teams
