Summary

We are seeking a part-time Pharmacist to join our team in Fruitland. The ideal candidate will be a confident individual with solid interpersonal skills, dedicated to delivering friendly service and ensuring optimal patient care.

Responsibilities

- Provide expert medication advice and support to patients
- Ensure accurate medication dispensing and administration
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy practices
- Educate patients on medication usage and potential side effects
- Manage inventory and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Assist in acute care settings as needed




- Support pediatric care initiatives within the pharmacy

Qualifications

- Valid pharmacist license in Canada
- Strong hospital experience with a focus on acute care
- Proficiency in patient care practices
- Familiarity with pediatrics is an asset
- Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred
- Experience with medication administration processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
