Job Overview

Equinelle Pharmasave is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant (Part-time) to join our team. The ideal candidate will support pharmacy operations, assist with patient intake and medication dispensing and help support the business management side of pharmacy. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic healthcare environment while contributing to the well-being of our community.

Duties

- Assist licensed pharmacists with medication preparation, labeling, and dispensing in accordance with medical terminology and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory control of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies, ensuring proper storage and stock levels.



This includes front shop ordering, pricing and maintenance of the POS.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations, safety protocols, and pharmacy policies at all times.
- Update patient records accurately within pharmacy management systems, maintaining confidentiality.
- Have a working knowledge of the Kroll computer system
- must have a working knowledge of Office 365
- Must be able to demonstrate the ability to learn current things in order to help with sales reporting, billings and POS input.
- Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of inventory management practices within a pharmacy setting.

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 – 25.0 per week
