Role Description The Photo Booth Attendant – Casual Labour role is a part-time, on-site position based in the Greater Calgary Metropolitan Area. In this role, the attendant sets up and takes down photo booth equipment at event venues, ensuring all hardware, software, and props are ready and functioning correctly. During events, the attendant welcomes guests, explains how to use the photo booth, troubleshoots minor technical issues, and helps maintain a fun and organized atmosphere.
The role also includes monitoring print quality, keeping digital files organized, and ensuring the booth area is clean and presentable throughout the event. Work hours vary depending on event bookings and often include evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- Ability to set up, operate, and safely transport photo booth equipment, including cameras, lighting, printers, and props.
- Basic technical skills for handling photo booth software, resolving simple equipment issues, and following setup instructions.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills to engage guests of all ages, provide clear instructions, and maintain a positive event experience.
- Reliable time management and organizational skills for coordinating event schedules, adhering to timelines, and keeping the booth area orderly.
- Comfort working evenings and weekends, with the ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed.
- Professional appearance and demeanor, with attention to detail in booth presentation and guest interactions.
- Previous event, hospitality, or entertainment experience is an asset but not required; training will be provided.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation within the Greater Calgary Metropolitan Area are preferred.
