About the Role

Ingersoll Paper Box Co. is looking for an experienced Gluer Operator to join our manufacturing team. The Gluer Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring gluing equipment to ensure production runs efficiently and finished products meet IPB and customer quality standards.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, excellent attention to detail, and previous experience operating gluing equipment in a corrugated or paperboard manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

- Set up blanks in the gluer and make necessary adjustments to ensure boxes run smoothly.
- Adjust machine settings and pressure to ensure proper glue application and box sealing.
- Prepare the machine for each job and complete required make-ready activities.
- Operate the gluer safely and efficiently.
- Monitor box quality, positioning, and appearance throughout production.
- Complete quality inspection samples and ensure products meet customer specifications.
- Monitor product and corrugated material levels to support continuous production.
- Communicate with Production, Die Cutting, Technical Support, Quality, Plant Management, and Supervisors regarding job inspection, approvals, and production concerns.
- Report quality issues, equipment problems, or production discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure products are packed according to customer requirements.
- Communicate production changes or concerns to the Gluer Take-Off.
- Assist General Labourers as required.
- Record job start and completion times in Imaginera.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety, quality, and production procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of relevant Gluer Operator experience required.




- Previous experience operating gluing equipment in a corrugated or paperboard manufacturing environment.
- Robust mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to make machine adjustments and identify production or quality issues.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Grade 12 diploma/GED is an asset.
- Must be available to work all shifts, including days, afternoons and midnights.

Working Conditions This is a hands-on manufacturing position requiring extended periods of standing and walking, as well as bending, reaching, lifting, gripping, twisting, and working around operating machinery.

The role may involve exposure to machinery, noise, paper and corrugated fibres,



repetitive motions, moving parts, tools, and other manufacturing-related hazards.
