We are seeking an experienced Python Developer with 8+ years of experience to join Citi’s technology team in Mississauga, ON, Canada. The role focuses on advanced Python development, large-scale data processing, data engineering, ETL development, PySpark, Spark, Pandas, NumPy, SQL/Oracle, and optimization techniques for processing high volumes of data.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain applications using Python.

- Perform large-scale data processing using PySpark and Spark.

- Design and develop data engineering solutions.

- Develop ETL processes using Oracle, MongoDB, and Hive.

- Optimize data processing solutions for large volumes of data.

- Work with Pandas for advanced data processing and analysis.

- Utilize NumPy for data processing and computational requirements.

- Develop and optimize SQL/Oracle queries.

- Apply advanced coding practices to build efficient and scalable solutions.

- Support Big Data processing requirements and data engineering initiatives.

Required Qualifications

- 8+ years of professional experience.

- Strong proficiency in Python,



including advanced Python development.

- Advanced PySpark experience.

- Advanced Spark experience.

- Strong data processing and data engineering experience.

- Experience developing ETL solutions using Oracle, MongoDB, and Hive.

- Advanced experience with optimization techniques for large-volume data processing.

- Advanced Pandas experience.

- Intermediate NumPy experience.

- Advanced SQL/Oracle experience.

- Strong coding and Big Data processing experience.
