Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated RECE Full-Time Classroom Lead to inspire and guide young learners in a dynamic childcare setting. As a Classroom Lead, you will be responsible for creating engaging educational experiences, supporting children’s individual needs, and leading a team of educators to ensure a safe, inclusive, and joyful classroom environment. Your leadership will help cultivate a space where children feel valued, supported, and excited to learn.

Duties

- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that promote learning through play, creativity, and exploration
- Lead daily classroom routines, ensuring smooth transitions and effective time management
- Support children with diverse needs by adapting activities and providing individualized attention
- Supervise and mentor assistant educators and support staff to foster teamwork and professional growth
- Maintain accurate documentation of children’s progress, attendance, and daily reports




- Communicate effectively with parents about their child’s development and classroom events
- Ensure health, safety, and cleanliness standards are consistently met within the classroom environment

Requirements
- Valid Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) certification or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience working with young children in an early childhood education setting
- Robust leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities in French are considered an asset
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly valued
- Knowledge of childcare best practices, early childhood education principles, and child development stages
- Proficiency in computer operation for documentation, communication, and record keeping
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a busy classroom setting
- Passionate about fostering inclusive environments that support diversity and creativity

Pay: $28.00 per hour
