We are seeking a detail oriented and organized Receptionist/Administrative assistant to join our team. Construction office with seasonal work we are looking for someone part time in the winter and full time in the summer. Schedule is 1-3 days through the winter (Fridays are non negotiable) and 4-5 days through the summer.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and possess excellent communication skills to support our office operations. You will be the first point of contact, ensuring smooth front desk operations and providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and clients warmly, ensuring a positive first impression of the organization
- Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls accurately and professionally using proper phone etiquette
- Handle data entry tasks with precision, maintaining accurate records and files
- Schedule appointments.
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, proofreading documents, and organizing paperwork
- Assist with general office tasks including supply management, mail distribution, and maintaining a clean reception area
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) .
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle inquiries professionally and courteously
- Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and front desk operations
- Robust typing skills along with proofreading abilities to ensure accuracy in correspondence
- Previous experience in construction office settings is a plus but not required.
- Demonstrated computer skills including familiarity with office equipment and software applications
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16.0 – 40.0 per week
