Position Overview
The Front Desk Receptionist serves as the contact point for members and guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience, while providing the service of booking programs, and courts. Acts as a central contact point for Club operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations:
· Greet and assist clients, visitors, and employees with professionalism and courtesy.
· Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and inquiries to the appropriate departments.
· Assist members and guests in swiping in.
· Processes payment both electronic and cash.
· Completes facility opening and closing procedures.
· Registering members and guests for programs and services
· Handle incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and courier services.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk setting.
Facility Communication:
· Acts as a central hub to communication on daily activities at the Club:
o Understands all programs and services that are running on a given day.
o Is aware of groups, parties or special events on a given day and special considerations required.
· Is a central resource to ensure programs and events are set up and delivered as planned.
· Monitors the cleanliness and safety of the front entrance and reception area and communicates with cleaning staff when attention is needed.
· Contacts the management team at home/cell when urgent issues arise.
Customer Experience:
· Engage in conversation with members and guest and demonstrate genuine interest in their satisfaction at the Club.
· Learns the names and interests of members.
· Maintains a thorough understanding of Club rules and code of conduct while effectively communicating and applying them in a positive and reasonable manner.
· Assist in resolving escalated customer concerns in a timely and professional manner by demonstrating leadership in reporting the concern to management.
· Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring all interactions align with the organization’s mission and values.
· Proactively identify ways to enhance the customer and visitor experience.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; some post secondary education preferred.
Experience: Experience in a customer service or reception role is an asset.
Skills & Attributes
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Basic skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software.
- Experience learning and using new software and technology.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
Other: Free onsite parking Pay: From $16.40 per hour
Expected hours: 16.0 – 24.0 per week
