Indigenous clients at home while ensuring their independence and well-being. As an integral member of the team, the Registered Care Aide will provide high-quality home care services, emphasizing trauma-informed practices. You will assist clients with daily activities and monitor their health, communicating with clinical coordinators. A focus on community health, continuous education, and collaboration with other team members drives this role. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care such as dressing and grooming
- Monitor clients’ home environment for safety
- Perform light housekeeping duties for clients
- Report changes in clients’ conditions to nurses
- Participate in community wellness initiatives Requirements:
- Current registration as a Registered Care Aide in BC
- Minimum one year of relevant experience
- Valid BC Driver's License and reliable vehicle
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
