Duties

- Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that support early childhood education principles.
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging social skills, independence, and emotional well-being.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and daily experiences.
- Maintain accurate records of children's development, attendance, and classroom activities.
- Collaborate with team members to create inclusive learning environments that accommodate children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education support.
- Use computer skills to document observations, prepare reports, and manage classroom schedules efficiently.

Qualifications

- Valid registration as an Early Childhood Educator with relevant licensing authorities.




- Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, including classroom experience.
- Knowledge of early childhood education practices, child development stages, and behavior management strategies.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in special education is highly desirable.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French is a strong asset for supporting diverse communities.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
- Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities, documentation, and time effectively.
- Computer operation skills for record keeping, lesson planning, and communication purposes.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to guide children positively while maintaining a safe environment.
