About the Role
ERGO Inc. is looking for a Registered Kinesiologist and/or Ergonomist to join our growing consulting team. This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys both hands-on ergonomics consulting and office-based work and is interested in developing a career in professional ergonomics.
The role will be divided between office-based administrative and business support responsibilities and office ergonomics assessments, conducted both virtually and at client workplaces throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
The successful candidate will work closely with our ergonomics team and clients, gaining exposure to a broad range of workplace ergonomics and consulting activities. For the right individual, there is significant potential for the role to grow into additional areas of ergonomics consulting, training and client services.
Key Responsibilities:
Office Ergonomics & Client Services
- Conduct in-person and virtual office ergonomics assessments for employees working in a variety of workplace environments.
- Prepare clear and professional assessment reports and recommendations.
- Communicate findings and recommendations effectively with employees, managers and clients.
- Support follow-up activities with clients and employees as required.
- Travel to client locations in the Toronto/GTA area and surrounding areas.
Office & Business Support
- Assist with day-to-day activities that support ERGO Inc.'s consulting operations.
- Create and schedule social media content, including LinkedIn posts and other company communications.
- Maintain and organize client contacts, resources, reference materials and other business information.
- Assist with client communications, including emails, scheduling and follow-up.
- Research ergonomics, workplace health and safety and related topics to support client projects and company content.
- Assist with the development and updating of training materials, presentations, templates and other consulting resources.
- Support marketing and business development initiatives.
- Assist with other administrative and operational activities as required.

Qualifications
Required:
- Registered Kinesiologist in Ontario and/or formal education in ergonomics, human factors, kinesiology or a related discipline.
- Associate Ergonomist (AE) or the ability to become Certified with CCCPE is an asset.
- Strong understanding of human anatomy, biomechanics and workplace ergonomics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and confidence interacting with employees and clients.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a small consulting team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and common digital workplace tools.
- Willingness to travel to client locations within the GTA and surrounding areas
Assets:
- Previous experience conducting office or workplace ergonomics assessments.
- Associate Ergonomist (AE) or the ability to become Certified with CCCPE.
- Experience with injury prevention, rehabilitation,
occupational health or return-to-work services.
- Experience creating social media or marketing content.
- Experience developing presentations, training materials or educational resources.
- Previous consulting or client-service experience.
