Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) – Independent Contractor

Barre Life Pilates & Wellness is looking for a warm, dependable and community-minded Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) to join our growing wellness team.

We are a boutique Pilates and wellness studio in Oakville offering Reformer Pilates, Barre, Physiotherapy and other wellness services. We’re looking for an RMT who is excited to build their practice within an established community and become a genuine part of our studio.

This opportunity would be a great fit for an RMT who values flexibility and independence but also enjoys being part of a collaborative, welcoming environment.

The Opportunity

Our RMT will work as an independent contractor from a private treatment room within Barre Life. We are initially looking for approximately two days of availability per week (10–20 hours), with the opportunity to expand as your clientele grows.

Compensation is based on a 70/30 revenue split, with 70% of massage therapy service revenue paid to the RMT.

- Collaboration and cross-referral opportunities with our Physiotherapy and Pilates team

- Reception/client experience support when available

What We're Looking For We’re looking for someone who:
- Is registered and in valuable standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO)
- Holds appropriate professional liability insurance
- Provides professional, client-centred massage therapy treatment
- Is warm, approachable and committed to creating an excellent client experience
- Is reliable, professional and communicates well
- Is interested in developing long-term client relationships and growing their practice
- Enjoys being part of a team and contributing to a positive studio culture
- Is comfortable promoting their availability and participating in studio marketing and community initiatives
- Is interested in collaborating with our Pilates and wellness professionals when appropriate

Both experienced RMTs and newer graduates who are motivated to grow their practice are encouraged to apply.
