Looking for 1-2 days a week to be integrated into our clinic's existing schedule. Potential days and working times:
Mondays -> 9am-5pm
Tuesdays -> 9am-1pm
Thursdays -> 9am-4pm
Duties
- Perform customized massage therapy sessions based on client needs, utilizing various techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, or sports massage
- Assess clients’ conditions and medical histories to develop effective treatment plans
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment in accordance with health and safety standards
- Educate clients on self-care practices and post-treatment recommendations to maximize benefits
- Manage appointment scheduling efficiently to ensure smooth daily operations
- Communicate clearly with clients about treatment procedures, benefits, and any necessary follow-up care
- Keep detailed records of treatments provided and client progress for ongoing care continuity
Requirements
- Valid registration and licensing as a Massage Therapist in accordance with local regulations
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to musculoskeletal health and wellness
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
- Proven customer service skills with a friendly, empathetic approach to client care
- Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in massage therapy or related health fields is preferred but not mandatory; training opportunities available for eager learners
