South Calgary Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery is currently seeking an enthusiastic and team-oriented Registered Nurse to fulfill a part time position within our state of the art surgical facility. Our mission is to provide optimum Oral and Maxillofacial surgical service in a caring, compassionate and safe environment. The successful candidate will work collaboratively in a fulfilling and engaged team-oriented workplace. Expectation of travel to surgical sites in Mahogany and Airdrie as well.

Role includes comprehensive patient care from consultation through to the operating room and recovery. Administrative duties include documentation, communication to referring offices/specialties. Patient education is an extremely important component of the role.

Requirements

- Current CARNA registration.
- Current BLS certification.




- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both autonomously as well as collaboratively.
- Strong time management skills.
- Possess sound clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
- Computer skills.
- Possess a professional and caring approach.

Assets:
- Current ACLS certification.
- Current PALS certification.
- Experience in a critical care unit/intensive care unit.
- Experience in a peri-operative and post-operative setting.

Working Hours:
- Daytime working hours Monday through Friday with the occasional Saturday.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $42.85 per hour
