We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our team as an independent contractor.
Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled and empathetic Physiotherapist to become part of our dynamic team at Pace. In this role, you will work with a wide variety of clients and play a key role in helping them improve mobility, manage pain, and achieve greater physical health through exceptional physiotherapy services.
Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive assessments of clients' physical function and develop personalized treatment plans
- Deliver hands-on therapy including manual techniques, exercise programs, and use of therapeutic modalities
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed
- Educate clients on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and at-home exercises
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic client care
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory and professional standards
- Remain current with evolving physiotherapy practices and research
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution
- Licensed and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
- Experience working with diverse populations across the lifespan
- A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience is preferred
- Strong skills in assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic intervention
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to continuing education and career development
- A client-focused and empathetic approach to care
- First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of starting
- A current Criminal Record Check including Vulnerable Sector Screening within 30 days of offer
