Healing Harbour Counselling is expanding and is seeking a Registered Psychologist to join our growing team.

Our practice is part of a large multidisciplinary healthcare environment that includes family physicians, specialists, psychiatrists, and other mental health professionals. This provides excellent opportunities for collaboration, continuity of care, and a strong referral network.

We offer flexible full-time or part-time opportunities, with the option to provide both in-person and virtual services.

Responsibilities

- Provide psychological assessment, counselling, and therapy to children, adolescents, and adults
- Deliver evidence-based, client-centred treatment tailored to individual needs
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals when appropriate
- Maintain timely clinical documentation and uphold professional and ethical standards

Qualifications Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists, or eligible for registration in Alberta

Comfortable providing services to a diverse client population

Ability to bill NIHB (Non-Insured Health Benefits) or willingness to become an NIHB-registered provider

Preferred Assets

- EMDR training or certification
- Experience working with trauma, PTSD,



and related conditions
- Experience with addiction and substance use disorders
- Training in CBT, DBT, ACT, or other evidence-based therapeutic modalities
- Experience providing culturally responsive care to diverse communities
- Arabic language skills are considered an asset due to growing demand within the communities we serve; however, Arabic proficiency is not required for this position
