Registered Psychotherapist (RP) – Kingston, Ontario

YourTherapist Psychotherapy and Counselling (YTPC) is seeking to add an experienced Registered Psychotherapist (RP) to our wonderful clinical team in Kingston, Ontario .

This is an in-person clinical position . Applicants must be available to provide a minimum of 10 hours of in-person psychotherapy per week at our Kingston clinic . This is not a virtual-only position.

YourTherapist Psychotherapy and Counselling (YTPC) is a multidisciplinary mental-health practice providing specialized care to adults, couples, families, children and youth, with particular expertise supporting military members, veterans, RCMP, police, First Responders, intelligence and security-sector personnel, and their families .

We are looking for an experienced, clinically grounded therapist who values evidence-informed treatment, strong therapeutic relationships, professionalism and collaborative care.

Minimum Requirements

- Registered Psychotherapist ( RP ) in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO)
- Minimum three years of post-graduate clinical psychotherapy experience
- Graduate-level education in counselling, psychotherapy, psychology or a related clinical discipline from a Canadian university
- Legally entitled to work in Canada at the time of application
- YourTherapist Psychotherapy and Counselling (YTPC) does not provide visa, immigration or work-permit sponsorship




- Availability to provide a minimum of 10 in-person clinical hours per week in Kingston
- Strong assessment, case conceptualization, treatment-planning and documentation skills
- Ability to practise independently while working collaboratively within a clinical team
- High skilled and ethical standards

Strong Assets
- Specialized training and experience in trauma, PTSD and Operational Stress Injuries
- Training in EMDR, CBT, IFS, ACT, DBT, exposure-based therapies or other evidence-based trauma approaches
- Experience working with police, First Responders, military personnel or veterans
- Experience with couples, families, children or youth
- Ability to provide psychotherapy in an additional language
- Additional languages especially French
