REGULAR KITCHEN EMPLOYEE — EDDIE’S DONAIR & PIZZA

Location: Edmonton, Alberta

Pay: Starting at $18.50 per hour

Schedule: Full-time or part-time, including evenings, weekends and closing shifts

Eddie’s Donair & Pizza is looking for a reliable and experienced Kitchen Employee for a fast-paced restaurant.

This position involves working primarily at the fryer, grill and hot-food assembly station. The successful candidate must work quickly, follow recipes and portions, maintain a clean station and help the team without needing constant reminders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Prepare fries, poutines, wings, onion rings, burgers and other menu items
- Read KDS tickets and follow all modifiers and special instructions
- Follow proper cooking times, temperatures, recipes and portions
- Coordinate order timing with the pizza and donair stations
- Keep the fryer, grill and assembly areas clean and organized
- Restock cheese, sauces, seasonings, packaging and ingredients
- Follow food-safety, sanitation, FIFO, labelling and storage procedures
- Complete assigned food preparation and restocking
- Wash dishes, sweep, mop, remove garbage and complete closing duties
- Assist with donair assembly, packaging, counter or pizza support after training
- Communicate low stock, order delays and equipment problems immediately
- Record mistakes, remakes and wasted food honestly

REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum one year of restaurant or commercial kitchen experience
- Fryer,



grill, burger, wing or poutine experience is preferred
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Able to work quickly without sacrificing quality or cleanliness
- Able to read order tickets and follow detailed instructions
- Able to work evenings, weekends and closing shifts
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and safely lifting approximately 40 pounds
- Willing to learn and work at multiple stations
- Food-safety certification is an asset

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR We are looking for someone reliable, punctual, consistent and easy to train. You must be willing to stay productive during slower periods by cleaning, preparing food, restocking and helping other employees.
