Youtube Video A career at National Bank means having a direct impact on clients. As a Mortgage Development Manager, you support clients through one of the most important milestones in their lives: their real estate project.
Active in your market, you primarily focus on developing business with clients outside the Bank by building strong partnerships with key players in the real estate industry and internal teams, ensuring clients receive comprehensive solutions tailored to their needs.
This position is available in multiple locations across the Western provinces. Your work location will be determined based on your preferences and available opportunities.
Your Role
- Provide a holistic client experience by referring clients to the appropriate specialists based on their needs (insurance, banking services, investments, commercial services, etc.)
- Develop and maintain a strong network of business partners, including real estate brokers, builders, and other influential players in the real estate market, to generate business opportunities and support portfolio growth.
- Actively participate in internal initiatives with a view to generating new business opportunities
- Design and implement visibility and business development strategies, both digital and in-person, to strengthen your market presence.
- Rigorously apply processes and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory standards and requirements

Requirements
- College diploma (DEC) completed.
- Minimum of 2 years of business development experience, ideally within the financial services industry
- Ability to independently plan and organize activities while demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach to maximize results and achieve business objectives.
- Knowledge of lending products and services, as well as a solid understanding of related financial solutions (insurance, investments, banking services, business services, etc.)
- Ability to take an end-to-end approach to understanding clients’ financial goals and ensuring all their needs are addressed comprehensively
- Strong professional rigor,
both from a technical perspective and in delivering a high-quality client experience and ongoing follow-up
