About us

Control Your Costs is a cost-tracking software built by restaurant owners, for independent restaurants. Owners snap a photo of their invoices, and the app shows them what every dish actually costs and what they really make on it. No month-end surprises. We don't win unless our restaurants do. Margins in this industry are thin, and we built this so independent owners keep more of what they earn.

We're small, we're growing, and Toronto is our next market. You'd be our first rep there.

What you'll do

- Visit independent restaurants (QSR, pizza, delis, cafés, fast casual) and start real conversations with owners
- Reach out to owners through Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and email, and turn those conversations into visits or demos
- Show them a quick demo on your computer, phone or tablet




- Help interested owners start their free trial with your personal referral code
- Follow up with the ones who want a second look

What you get

- $150 for every restaurant that signs up and becomes a paying customer
- 20% of what they pay every month for their first year, then 10% for as long as you're with us and they're a customer
- Business cards, your own demo account, and a full sales playbook
- Training and ongoing support from our team
- Total control over your hours. Work 5 hours a week or 25. No cap on what you can earn.

What it can look like

- Sign 10 restaurants: $1,500 in signup bonuses, plus about $200 a month in recurring commission
- Sign 25 restaurants: $3,750 in signup bonuses, plus about $500 a month in recurring commission

You're a fit if you:

- Genuinely care whether the restaurants you work with succeed, and check in after the sale, not just before it
- Have restaurant experience in any role, front or back of house
- Are just as comfortable walking into a restaurant as you are sliding into a DM
- Follow up when you say you will
- Want your effort to turn directly into income
- Live in Toronto

- Independent contractor, commission-based (no base pay)
