Position Overview

We are looking for a friendly, reliable and sales-focused Sales Associate to join our Yonge Street team.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with customers, is confident recommending products and is willing to learn about coffee, espresso machines and our product selection. This is an active retail sales position, so we are looking for someone who takes initiative rather than waiting to be told what needs to be done.

Responsibilities

- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Ask questions to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products
- Learn our coffee, espresso machines, brewing equipment and accessories
- Explain product features and benefits confidently
- Demonstrate espresso machines and other products when required
- Drive sales through product recommendations, upselling and add-on sales
- Inform customers about promotions and featured products
- Operate the POS system and handle cash and electronic payments
- Restock merchandise and maintain full, organized displays
- Receive,



unpack and organize inventory
- Assist with inventory counts and stock management
- Maintain a clean, organized and welcoming sales floor
- Complete opening and closing duties
- Complete assigned daily tasks and take initiative during quieter periods

Qualifications
- Previous retail, sales or customer service experience
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable approaching and engaging with customers
- Confident recommending and selling products
- Reliable, punctual and responsible
- Able to lift and move merchandise as required
- Flexible availability, including weekends

Coffee or espresso machine knowledge is an asset, but not required. We are happy to train the right person who has a strong attitude toward customer service, sales and learning.
