Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically minded Sales Coordinator to support our sales team by managing customer inquiries, preparing quotations, reviewing engineering documentation, and coordinating communication throughout the quoting and project launch process
Responsibilities
Customer Support & Relationship Management
- Receive and review customer inquiries, RFQs, drawings, and technical requirements.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customers during the quotation process.
- Respond promptly to customer requests and provide quotation status updates.
- Follow up with customers regarding submitted quotations and business opportunities.
- Maintain accurate customer information and activity records.
Quotation Preparation
- Coordinate RFQ reviews with engineering, tooling, production, purchasing, and quality departments.
- Gather material, tooling, processing, and outside service costs required for quotation preparation.
- Prepare accurate and timely quotations for stamped components, assemblies, tooling, and related manufacturing services.
- Ensure quotations align with customer requirements and company profitability objectives.
- Track quotation activity and maintain quote logs.
Technical Review
- Review customer CAD models, engineering drawings, and specifications.
- Interpret GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) requirements.
- Identify potential manufacturing concerns and communicate them to engineering and sales teams.
- Assist in the review of customer standards, quality requirements, and project specifications.
- Coordinate engineering clarifications with customers when required.
Internal Coordination
- Work closely with engineering, production, quality, purchasing, and program management teams.
- Support project launches by ensuring customer requirements are clearly communicated internally.
- Assist with preparing presentations, reports, and customer correspondence.
- Monitor ongoing opportunities and support business development initiatives.
Administrative Support
- Maintain quotation databases, sales records, and customer documentation.
- Generate sales reports and KPI tracking information.
- Support contract reviews and customer documentation requirements.
- Assist in preparing customer meeting materials and follow-up actions.
Qualifications
Education
- Diploma or degree in Business, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Relevant manufacturing or automotive experience will be considered.
Experience
- Experience in a sales coordination, estimating, customer service, program support, or manufacturing-related role.
- Experience in automotive manufacturing, metal stamping, tooling, machining, or related industries preferred.
- Experience preparing quotations and reviewing technical drawings is an asset.
Technical Skills
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Solid understanding of GD&T; principles.
- Familiarity with CAD files and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems is an asset.

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
