We are looking for an experienced and motivated Sales Representative to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who combines robust sales skills with a practical understanding of residential construction.

The Opportunity

As a Sales Representative, you will work directly with customers from the initial inquiry through to the sale. You will help customers understand our different models, discuss their needs, provide recommendations, prepare quotations and guide them through the purchasing process.

Our ideal candidate is someone who can comfortably have a conversation with a customer about both their vision and the practical construction considerations involved in making it happen.

Key Responsibilities

- Respond to customer inquiries and generate new sales opportunities
- Meet with customers to understand their needs, budget and intended use of the structure
- Explain our various bunkie models, features, options and customization possibilities
- Provide accurate pricing and prepare quotations
- Follow up with prospective customers and manage the sales process from inquiry to closing
- Build strong relationships with customers and provide exceptional customer service
- Discuss basic construction considerations such as site conditions, access, foundations, framing, roofing, siding, windows and doors
- Review customer requirements and communicate project details clearly to the production and installation teams




- Coordinate with customers throughout the project to ensure expectations are clearly understood
- Maintain accurate customer and sales records
- Develop new business through referrals, networking, lead follow-up and other sales activities
- Attend customer properties when required to assess site conditions and discuss the proposed structure
- Consistently work toward individual and company sales targets

What We're Looking For The successful candidate will have:

- Proven experience in sales, preferably in construction, building materials, home improvement or a related industry
- A good understanding of residential construction and building materials
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to understand customer needs and translate them into practical solutions
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- The ability to prepare and explain quotations
- Confidence discussing projects ranging from approximately $15,000 to $80,000+
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- The ability to manage multiple customers and sales opportunities at different stages
- A professional, friendly and customer-focused approach
- A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation

Construction Experience Construction experience is strongly preferred.

Experience in any of the following would be an asset:

- Residential construction
- Construction estimating
- Building materials or lumber sales
- Renovation sales
- Deck,



fence, shed or garage sales
- Modular or prefabricated structures
- Roofing, siding, windows or doors
- Landscaping or outdoor structures
- Project coordination or construction management

Compensation

Competitive base salary and or plus commission

Compensation will reflect the successful candidate's sales experience, construction knowledge and ability to generate and close business.

The position will involve a combination of working from our Brampton location, communicating with customers and occasional customer/site visits.
