Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Salesperson role located in downtown Vancouver, BC. The Salesperson will welcome clients, answer inquiries, and guide them through tattoo and piercing options, including artist styles, procedures, and aftercare recommendations. Daily responsibilities include showcasing and selling body jewelry, processing payments, managing appointments, and maintaining accurate records.

The role also involves keeping the front-of-house area clean and organized, restocking displays, and supporting artists and piercers with client communication.



The Salesperson will help promote studio services, uphold health and safety guidelines, and contribute to a positive, inclusive atmosphere for all clients.

Qualifications

- Strong customer service and client-facing skills, including active listening, clear communication, and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Sales and retail experience, with the ability to recommend products, handle objections, and close sales ethically and confidently.
- Basic administrative and organizational skills, such as managing schedules, handling payments, and maintaining accurate records.
- Comfort working in a tattoo and piercing environment, with a willingness to learn about procedures, aftercare, and industry terminology.
- Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness, safety, and studio hygiene standards.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Team-oriented mindset, with the ability to collaborate respectfully with artists, piercers, and other staff members.
- Previous experience in body art, fashion, or jewelry retail is an asset; multilingual skills and familiarity with Vancouver’s diverse communities are beneficial.
