About The Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Scrum Master in either Canada or US to join our FinTech team and play a key role in enabling Agile delivery excellence across cross-functional teams. As a Scrum Master, you will serve as a servant leader and Agile coach, helping teams maximize productivity, improve collaboration, and deliver high-quality solutions. You will partner closely with Product Owners, Engineering teams, and business stakeholders to facilitate Agile processes, remove obstacles, and drive continuous improvement.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about Agile methodologies, enjoys coaching teams, and thrives in a fast-paced, technology-driven workplace.

What You’ll Do

Responsibilities are varied and not listed in order of importance:





- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Coach teams on Scrum principles, Agile best practices, and continuous improvement.
- Identify and remove impediments impacting team productivity and delivery timelines.
- Partner with Product Owners to ensure backlog readiness and alignment with business priorities.
- Monitor Agile metrics and help teams improve velocity, predictability, and delivery performance.
- Promote transparency, accountability, and effective communication among stakeholders.
- Drive cross-functional coordination and dependency management when needed.
- Support Agile transformation initiatives and organizational adoption of Agile principles.
- Provide visibility into project health, risks, dependencies, and team capacity.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture focused on delivering business value.

What We’re Looking For

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience serving as a Scrum Master supporting software development or technology teams.
- Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.




- Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies in fast-paced environments.
- Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
- Experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Monday.com, or similar platforms.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization.

Assets (Nice to Have)

- Scrum certification such as CSM, PSM, SSM, or equivalent.
- Experience supporting distributed or global teams.
- Background in SaaS, FinTech, cybersecurity, cloud, or technology organizations.
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and modern software delivery practices.
- Experience supporting Agile transformations or organizational change initiatives.
