What You'll Do

- Design, develop, and support data engineering and analytics solutions using modern Microsoft technologies.
- Build and maintain data pipelines, transformations, and data products using Microsoft Fabric, Python, SQL, and cloud-native services.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business processes, and translate needs into technical solutions.
- Perform data discovery, profiling, validation, and quality assessment activities.
- Support the development of reporting, analytics, and AI use cases.
- Contribute to solution design workshops, technical documentation, and client presentations.
- Troubleshoot and optimize data processing workflows to improve performance and reliability.
- Work closely with architects and senior team members to implement best practices for governance, security, and data management.
- Continuously learn and adopt emerging technologies in Data, Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence.

Qualifications Skills &

Experience

- 3 to 6 years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics, Business Intelligence, or related fields.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational and analytical data platforms.
- Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and data transformations.
- Understanding of data warehousing, data lakes, dimensional modeling, and modern analytics architectures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a Government of Canada Secret Security Clearance.
