Become a key player at Export Development Canada as a Senior Advisor in Setting & Social Risk Management, operating in a hybrid model. This critical role requires expertise in environmental and social impact assessments. EDC is looking for experienced consultants to join its Environmental and Social Risk Management team. You'll assess complex transactions, negotiate mitigants, and ensure compliance with international standards like the Equator Principles.

Your role will enhance EDC’s approach to mitigating E&S; risks across a variety of sectors. Key Responsibilities:

- Lead assessments of complex transactions with material E&S; risks
- Analyze alignment of reports with good practices and standards
- Manage relationships with stakeholders for credibility
- Conduct site visits to evaluate E&S; capacity and performance
- Negotiate E&S; commitments in financing agreements Requirements:
- University degree in social or environmental science
- 7-10 years’ experience in ESIA or ESDD
- Advanced knowledge of E&S; principles and standards
- Proven ability to meet deadlines
