Your mission: Turn our clients’ needs into technology solutions that perform, hold up, and last.

About The Role

Do you enjoy taking technical challenges and turning them into well-run projects with real results? Join our Projects Team as a Senior Project Analyst and play a direct part in delivering a wide range of technology projects for a diverse client base.

In this role, you’ll plan, analyze, coordinate, and deploy IT solutions tailored to each client’s needs. You’ll be a key partner in every project’s success and make sure clients have a great experience from start to finish. If you’re known for working independently, being technically thorough, and juggling several projects at once, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

- Build the project’s technical work plan: Once a project is approved, you’ll create a detailed technical plan based on the agreed scope, timeline, and budget. You’ll keep execution on track and spot risks and issues before they become problems.
- Analyze the environment: You’ll gather and analyze information about clients’ existing infrastructure and systems so you understand the requirements, map out dependencies, and plan each deployment carefully.
- Deploy and configure a wide range of IT solutions: You’ll be hands-on with a variety of IT solutions, including firewalls, network switches, Microsoft 365 environments, backup solutions, security systems, cloud platforms, and other business technologies. You’ll follow industry best practices so every environment you deploy is solid and stable.
- Keep documentation and project tracking up to standard: You’ll keep complete, current documentation of completed projects, configurations, and relevant procedures. That way the knowledge stays with the team and everything meets our internal standards.

- Hand off knowledge and support our operations teams: You’ll work closely with our Managed Services and Technical Support teams to hand projects off smoothly to operations. You’ll clearly communicate what changed and what they need to know to keep services running.

What We’re Looking For

- Organized, self-directed, with sound judgment and the ability to handle multiple requests at once
- Collaborative and technically curious, and eager to learn our company standards
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent at managing priorities and pressure
- Results-driven
- A solid communicator

Requirements

- DEC or AEC in a related field, or equivalent
- 10 years of IT experience as a systems administrator
- 3 years of experience delivering projects
- Strong spoken and written French and English
- Experience configuring, installing, and deploying solutions such as Active
- Directory, Hyper-V/vSphere, firewalls, switches, wireless, Exchange, and Office 365
- Experience with Fortinet, Cisco, and Dell
- Strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills
- Basic scripting skills (PowerShell)
- Ability to travel to client sites, mostly in the Greater Montreal area
- Change management experience, especially risk analysis and mitigation

Nice to have: MSP experience

- Experience working alongside a project manager
- Relevant training or certifications (Fortinet, Azure, or Windows Server)

What success looks like

After 6 months

- You know our internal tools and processes inside and out.
- You’ve completed your 3-month probation.
- You work closely with project managers and the account management team to deliver projects successfully.
- You coordinate with internal teams to hand projects off smoothly to operations.

After 12 months

- You can deliver many different types of projects.
- You’ve built relationships with many of our key clients.
- You’re an expert in many technologies, and you can coordinate and plan creative strategies for larger clients and bigger projects.
- You own the technical delivery of the projects you’re assigned to.

Why you’ll love this role

- Choose your projects: You choose the projects you want to work on 99% of the time!

The project list is varied and interesting, so you’ll never run out of challenges.

- Autonomy: You organize your own work and run your projects independently, typically handling about 5 to 10 projects at a time. Your organizational skills, prioritization, and ability to structure your work will be key to your success.
- Overtime bonus after your 3-month probation: Are you passionate about what you do and always ready to go the extra mile? Billable hours above target can be banked or paid out at the end of each month.

We recognize extra effort for what it’s worth. You help us reach our goals, and we help you reach yours.

- Flexible schedule: You get a lot of flexibility over your hours. You manage your own schedule and, in most cases, plan maintenance windows when it suits you. And there’s no on-call rotation.

Do you thrive in an organized, stimulating, fast-pace environment where you’re in control of your own time? Then this role is made for you!
