Job Role The Senior Project Manager & Civil Engineer serves as a key leader within INSITE, responsible for delivery of land development and municipal infrastructure projects. The position reports directly to the Company Owner and contributes to client relationship development and strategic initiatives.
By leading client engagements, managing project execution, and providing technical oversight, this role increases the firm’s capacity to deliver multiple projects while maintaining the company’s high standard of integrity.
The following qualifications and criteria are required:
- Hold a valid engineering licence with PEO.
- Hold a valid driver’s licence and have access to vehicle as needed for work travel.
- Have a minimum of 10 years working experience in the field of municipal infrastructure design and land development projects, including:
- lot grading design and earthworks, storm drainage, stormwater management systems and servicing for storm, sanitary, and water.
- preparation of civil engineering design drawings and reports.
- preparation of documents required during tender and construction phases.
- Have a solid background in design and a strong understanding of AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

Here’s some examples of tasks you may expect in the role:
- Lead team performance and mentor staff.
- Collaborate with consultants, clients, and approval agencies.
- Responsible for delivery of engineering analysis, drawings and construction certifications.
- Prepare tender documents, construction contracts.
- Prepare fee proposals, manage project budgets and schedules.
- Participate in Business Development and Strategic Planning Initiatives.
