Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and assist them in selecting food and beverages, ensuring a positive dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, and process transactions efficiently and responsibly
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, adhering to all food safety and alcohol service regulations
- Serve food promptly, ensuring presentation quality and proper handling to maintain freshness and safety
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar and dining areas, including glassware, utensils, and workstations
- Manage cash handling duties with accuracy, including cashing out customers and balancing registers at shift end




- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns swiftly

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with a strong understanding of customer service principles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and transaction processing
- Knowledge of bartending techniques, drink recipes, and alcohol safety regulations
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently during busy hours
- Strong communication skills to engage with guests professionally and courteously
- Basic math skills for cash handling, bill splitting, and inventory counting
- Commitment to food safety standards, including proper food handling and hygiene practices
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a quick-paced setting
