We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Shift Supervisor to lead our retail team through dynamic daily operations. As a pivotal member of our management team, you will oversee store activities during your shift, ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient merchandising, and smooth team coordination. Responsibilities

- Supervise daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) transactions
- Lead and motivate team members to meet sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service
- Oversee merchandising efforts, ensuring products are well-presented, priced correctly, and aligned with marketing strategies
- Manage scheduling, training & development initiatives, and performance feedback for staff members
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure a welcoming shopping environment
- Coordinate purchasing activities and assist with inventory management to optimize stock levels
- Conduct payroll processing, bookkeeping tasks, and maintain accurate sales records and reports
- Implement store policies related to pricing, promotions, and sales management while ensuring compliance with company standards




- Utilize strong communication skills to facilitate effective team meetings and relay important information clearly
- Apply negotiation skills during vendor interactions or conflict resolution to achieve favorable outcomes

Experience

- Proven supervising experience in retail or a related customer-focused environment
- Demonstrated success in retail sales management, team leadership, and store operations oversight
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for engaging diverse customer bases
- Solid organizational skills with experience in scheduling, budgeting, and administrative tasks such as bookkeeping and payroll processing
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and merchandising techniques
- Excellent communication skills coupled with phone etiquette proficiency for engaging customers and team members alike
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail in all responsibilities
- Experience in recruiting, interviewing potential staff members, and conducting training & development sessions is preferred
