Join a dynamic and customer-focused team at Stahl Peterbilt as a Shipper/Receiver in our Parts Department. You’ll be responsible for coordinating the movement of parts through the dealership while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional customer service. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
- Shipping & Receiving Operations: Receive, pick, verify, package, and prepare parts orders accurately and on schedule, ensuring all parts, quantities, and documentation are correct before processing.
- Inspection & Quality Control: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and condition, promptly identifying and reporting shortages, damages, incorrect picks, and shipping discrepancies.
- Packaging & Documentation: Prepare shipping documentation, package parts and materials safely and securely, and ensure all shipments meet carrier requirements and company standards.
- Safety Standards: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while operating equipment responsibly and complying with company safety standards and applicable legislation.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records, ensure parts are properly staged and stored, and support inventory accuracy through established department processes.
- Shipment Coordination: Coordinate courier pickups, deliveries, and interbranch transfers to support efficient parts distribution and customer service.
- Department Collaboration: Support Parts Department objectives by following established processes, assisting with merchandising standards, and contributing to departmental initiatives.
- Customer & Team Support: Work collaboratively with customers, coworkers, and other departments to support operational needs and contribute to a positive customer experience.

- Maintain timely, professional, and solution-focused communication with customers, coworkers, carriers, and other departments to support efficient operations.
- Consistently process shipments, receipts, documentation, and inventory transactions accurately while minimizing errors and discrepancies.
- Complete assigned work within established timelines, effectively manage competing priorities, and contribute to overall departmental efficiency.
- Maintain a safe work environment, follow company policies and procedures, and take ownership of resolving issues while supporting departmental goals.
Employment Qualifications:
- Highschool Diploma; or equivalent
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to learn order-entry systems
- Previous relatable experience is considered an asset
- Must have a clean drivers abstract
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical and criminal record check prior to hiring
