About us

Travelluxe Inc. manages 26 short-term rental properties across South Ontario, with a concentration in Niagara, Hamilton and Stoney Creek. These are luxury vacation rentals, not budget units. Waterfront homes with hot tubs, lake view decks, fire pits and four or five bedrooms sleeping eight to twelve guests. Guests pay a premium and they review accordingly.

We are always looking to add solid cleaning companies to our network, so this posting is open on an ongoing basis. This is a contract for a business, not a position for an individual cleaner. If you are an individual looking for employment, this posting is not the right fit.

Note on pay: the hourly range shown is indicative only. This work is paid per turnover, quoted per property, with laundry itemised separately. See the quoting instructions below.

How we work with cleaning teams

We start every new company on one or two properties. Teams that hold the standard get more. Several of the companies we work with now started with a single home and have grown into a steady, year round book of business with us. That is the path on offer here, and it is earned rather than promised.

Quality is the whole thing. Our owners are trusting us with homes worth well over a million dollars, and one missed clean shows up in a review that costs that owner money for the next six months. We would rather pay properly for a company that gets it right every time than chase the cheapest quote.

A typical property To give you a sense of the standard, a representative home in our portfolio is a four bedroom, three bathroom beachfront house sleeping ten, with a six person hot tub, a second floor lake view deck, a fire pit, outdoor games and a full kitchen. Turnovers on that kind of home are substantial and need a crew, not one person.

Scope per turnover

- Full clean of all living areas, bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen




- Strip and remake all beds to a hotel standard
- Outdoor spaces reset: decks, patio furniture, BBQ, fire pit area
- Restock consumables from the property's supply closet and flag anything running low
- Bag and remove garbage and recycling to the property's designated location
- Report any damage, maintenance issue or missing item before leaving
- Photo verification at completion

Every clean runs through Breezeway on a property specific checklist. The checklist cannot be closed without completing each item and submitting the required photos. We provide the app access, the checklists and the training.

Hot tubs

Most of our homes have one. Experience cleaning, testing and treating hot tubs between guests is strongly preferred and will put you ahead of other applicants. If you do not currently offer it but are willing to be trained, say so in your application.

Laundry

Arrangements differ by property and we want laundry priced separately so we can compare quotes properly.

- Smaller properties have in-suite laundry and we expect linens and towels done on site during the turnover
- Larger properties will likely need linens taken off site, laundered and returned

Please quote laundry as a separate line item, both on site and off site.

Scheduling

Turnovers are scheduled around guest checkout and check-in, so most cleans happen between 11am and 4pm, including weekends. Same day turnovers are normal.



Reliability inside that window matters more than anything else in this contract.

What we provide

- All consumables and guest supplies, stocked at each property
- Breezeway access, property specific checklists and training
- Property access codes and parking details
- A single point of contact who answers the phone

What you must carry We work only with properly insured companies. Before your first clean we will need:

- Commercial general liability insurance of at least $2,000,000 per occurrence, with Travelluxe Inc. named as additional insured
- A valid WSIB clearance certificate
- A janitorial or fidelity bond of at least $25,000 covering employee theft
- Commercial auto insurance for any vehicle used for work
- Criminal record checks on every staff member entering our properties

What you provide

- Your own cleaning equipment and products
- Your own transportation
- A crew large enough to complete a large home inside a four hour window, and a plan for when someone is sick

How to apply Please do not send a generic application. We will only respond to submissions that include:

- Your business name, how long you have operated, and how many staff you have
- Short term rental or hotel turnover experience, with references we can call
- Whether you service hot tubs, and if not, whether you would be willing to learn
- Confirmation you carry the insurance, WSIB and bonding listed above
- Your availability on weekends and for same day turnovers
- Your per turnover rate for a 2 bedroom and for a 4 bedroom property, with laundry itemised separately for on site and off site

Shortlisted companies will receive full property details, square footage and the actual cleaning checklists so you can firm up your quote before anything is agreed. Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
