- Shovelling crew: Lead a crew of 5 employees to manage the application of salt/ice remover, and transparent snow from driveways, walkways, sidewalks and porches throughout the winter season. The crew leader will delegate who will complete each task on site. Driving in a company vehicle from site to site clearing snow with compact blowers and hand shovels.
- Throughout the winter season, shovelling/snow blowing responsibilities are on an ‘on-call’ basis. Employees are typically given at least 8 hours of notice for upcoming shifts. Its everyones responsibility to monitor weather to be prepared for anticipated shifts to be called.
- Any snowfall accumulating to 2 inches or more will be shovelled/snow blown. Clearing will be completed as many times as necessary per snowfall.
- Drivers licence and experience is an asset
- Positions available; Plow operating mid size tractor positions: available with experience. We operate with John Deere and Kubota mid size tractors clearing routes on a on call schedule that follows the routes of our shovelling teams.
- Pay rate ranges from $19 - $27 per hour. depending on experience, licence and commitment, and position qualified for.
