Salary Range: $85,000 – $100,000 CAD

Job Summary:

Prevue is looking for an Intermediate Software Engineer to design, build, and support our software solutions, built on C# / .NET and deployed on AWS. This is a hands-on development role: most of your time will be spent writing and reviewing code, with a meaningful share spent working on our AWS infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You'll work closely with other engineers on design and architecture, own features from development through deployment, and help keep our systems running smoothly in production.

Solid experience with AWS and DevOps practices is required, and this role offers room to deepen those skills as you grow. Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, test, and maintain features and services in C# / .NET, delivering clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Work with product managers, business analysts, and senior engineers to understand requirements and turn them into well-scoped technical tasks and implementation plans.
- Support, maintain, and monitor the AWS infrastructure behind our web and database servers, including provisioning resources, responding to alerts, and applying security and configuration updates.
- Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation, helping to make releases faster, safer, and more reliable.
- Contribute to infrastructure as code (e.g., CloudFormation or CDK) and containerized deployments under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Participate in code reviews, both giving and receiving feedback, and help junior developers through pairing and knowledge sharing.
- Take ownership of features across the software development life cycle,

from implementation and testing through deployment and ongoing maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development and production environments, including application bugs, deployment failures, and infrastructure problems, escalating complex issues where appropriate.
- Contribute to technical design discussions and follow established architecture standards and coding practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA, customer success, and designers, to ensure smooth integration and delivery.
- Participate in Agile development practices, including sprint planning, stand-up meetings, and retrospectives.
- Identify and implement performance improvements in applications and AWS resources.
- Document code, deployment processes, and infrastructure configurations to support knowledge sharing across the team.
- Stay current on AWS services, DevOps tooling, and .NET ecosystem updates, and suggest improvements to team processes and automation.

Required Qualifications:

- 3–4 years of professional software development experience with C# and .NET (Framework and/or Core)
- Hands-on experience working with AWS services (e.g., EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, ECS)
- Practical experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline)
- Working knowledge of DevOps practices, including infrastructure as code, containerization (e.g., Docker),

and monitoring/logging tools
- Experience with relational databases and SQL
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Nice to Have:

- Experience with CloudFormation or AWS CDK
- Exposure to container orchestration (ECS/EKS)
- AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Developer or SysOps Administrator – Associate)

Additional Benefits:

- Full medical, dental, and extended health coverage
- Wellness allowance
- Hybrid work schedule (3 from home, 2 in office)
- RRSP/TFSA matching program
- Extensive paid training and professional development opportunities
- Educational allowance
- Casual office environment
