About the Role: We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Soup & Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for preparing our daily selection of house-made soups, stews, and spreads, while assisting with general prep and specialty items. Shift Details

- Hours: Shifts start promptly at 7:30 AM and end around 3:00 PM (daily end times may vary slightly based on production needs and inventory)

Key Responsibilities

- Soup & Spread Production: Prepare, mix, and cook batch recipes for daily soups, stews, and spreads according to established standards.
- Meat & Vegetable Prep: Accurately cut, slice, and portion raw meats (chicken, beef, and pork) as well as fresh vegetables.
- Specialty Equipment: Prepare meatball mixes and operate our automated meatball machine; assist with sausage mix and production.
- Team Support: Assist other cooks with general prep work as needed.




- Kitchen Standards: Maintain a clean, safe, and fully sanitized workstation throughout your shift.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Experience with soup preparation and high-volume batch cooking is strongly preferred.
- Previous prep cook or commercial kitchen experience required.
- Comfortable handling and portioning raw meats (chicken, beef, pork).
- Robust knife skills and solid knowledge of food safety guidelines.
- Reliable, punctual, and available for occasional weekend shifts.

Pay: $18.50-$19.50 per hour
