In this vital role, you will provide respectful, attentive support to seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those receiving hospice home care or post surgery care in the comfort of their homes. This paid position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your caregiving skills truly matter. The selected candidates must have their own vehicles to travel to and from the patients's places of residence.

Responsibilities

- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to ensure their comfort and dignity
- Support patients with medication administration following prescribed guidelines and safety procedures
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
- Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of isolation and promote mental well-being
- Help clients with mobility and transfers,



including heavy lifting when required, using proper techniques to ensure safety
- Document care activities accurately and communicate effectively with healthcare teams regarding client status or changes

Experience

- Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home care environments is highly valued
- Demonstrated experience in patient care, senior care, or hospice settings enhances your ability to excel in this role
- Familiarity with caring for individuals with disabilities or dementia is preferred
- Knowledge of caregiving best practices including medication administration and safety protocols is essential
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as heavy lifting safely and efficiently is required
- Experience in meal preparation, cleaning, and general household tasks supports comprehensive client care
