Insulation Technician / Junior Spray Foam Applicator

The Job
This is a hands-on field role. Most days you'll be part of a two- or three-person crew doing a mix of the following:
- Installing blow-in loose fill insulation (attics and walls)
- Applying intumescent (fire-protective) coatings with spray equipment
- Prepping job sites for spray foam: masking, taping, covering, setting up and tearing down gear
- Cleaning up after spray foam applications — overspray removal, trimming, site cleanup
- Checking coverage and film thickness so the work meets spec
- Maintaining and cleaning equipment so it's ready for the next job
- Pitching in wherever the crew needs it
Spray Foam Track If you have some spray foam experience, or you pick it up quickly, we want to get you working with our lead sprayer on certain jobs including rim joists, crawlspaces, small retrofits — with a path to full Spray Foam Applicator. If you've sprayed before, tell us. If you haven't, we'll train the right person.
What You Bring
- Valid Class 5 driver's license and a clean abstract (you'll be driving to sites and, eventually, driving a rig)
- Experience with blow-in,
spray foam, coatings, or general construction is an asset — reliability and attention to detail matter more
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work on ladders and at heights, work in attics and crawlspaces, and wear a respirator for extended periods
- Comfortable in a fast, physical work environment
- Available for occasional evenings and weekends when a job runs long
- Fall Protection, WHMIS, and respirator fit testing are assets
Compensation and Growth
- $25–$30/hour to start, depending on experience; applicator rates are higher once you're spraying independently
