Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures across multiple database platforms including Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and Hadoop ecosystems.
- Build and maintain scalable data warehouses and data lakes utilizing tools like Informatica, Apache Hive, and Spark to support analytics initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments to gather requirements, develop solutions, and deliver timely updates on project progress.
- Implement database design best practices to ensure data integrity, security, and performance efficiency.
- Develop automation scripts using VBA, Bash (Unix shell), and Shell Scripting to streamline data processing workflows.
- Integrate diverse data sources from cloud environments such as AWS to enhance data accessibility and analysis capabilities.




- Conduct thorough analysis of large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvements using advanced analytics techniques.

Skills
- Proficiency in SQL programming with extensive experience in Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark.
- Strong understanding of Data Warehouse architecture, database design principles, and ETL processes using Informatica or similar tools.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS for deploying scalable data solutions.
- Knowledge of programming languages including Java and Python for developing custom data processing applications.
- Familiarity with analytics tools and frameworks such as Apache Hive, Spark SQL, and related big data ecosystems.
- Experience with Shell Scripting (Bash) and VBA for automation tasks within complex data environments.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies to facilitate iterative development cycles.
- Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets to inform strategic decisions.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders alike.
