STUDENT SERVICES SECRETARY
Saskatoon Public Schools is seeking a Permanent Full-Time Student Services Secretary to provide administrative and secretarial support to the school’s Student Services Office. Under the general supervision of the Principal, the Student Services Secretary supports counsellors and assists students, parents, and staff through reception and communication, maintenance of confidential student records, registration and course selection processes, student information systems, and preparation of post-secondary documentation.
Applicants will possess Grade 12 or equivalent, along with completion of a minimum one-year post-secondary program in business administration or a related field.
The successful applicant will demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and applicable student information systems, including experience with scheduling, mark entry, timetabling, and related student information functions. The ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive student, school, and personal information is essential.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with the ability to work independently, exercise judgment, manage competing priorities, and meet organizational deadlines, are required. Previous experience in a Student Services setting, including knowledge of student credit requirements, graduation requirements, transcripts, and Ministry of Education requirements, is considered an asset.
