Substitute Teachers (short term contracts may also be available)

The successful candidate will demonstrate the attributes of the Alberta Teaching Quality Standard.

In particular

- Training in and experience working with students and curriculum across the divisions.
- High energy, a positive attitude and flexibility.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to differentiate curriculum for all learners.
- Excellent behaviour management skills.
- Knowledge of current educational research and issues.
- Excellent oral and written English.
- Experience in working as a member of a skilled learning network.
- Ability to work collaboratively and co-teach.
- Understands and applies principles of the Teaching Effectiveness Framework.




- Demonstrates skills of a child-centred Educator who embodies the Mission, Vision and Beliefs of the division.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively integrate technology to enhance the learning opportunities of students.
- Oral and Written French Language Skills would be an asset.
