Job Type: Part time / Casual Contracts

Schedule: Primarily after-school hours, weekday evenings, and weekends (Saturdays and Sundays)

Salary Rate Scale: $22.00 – $26.00 per hour

Start Date: Rolling start dates beginning this weekend (Immediate openings in Kanata, Guelph, and East York)

We are establishing a premium pool of dedicated, highly skilled Independent Contractors to provide top-tier care across multiple regions. Our primary clients are children and youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD/DD), and complex care needs.

As an independent contractor, you will have the flexibility to accept shifts that fit your schedule, making this an ideal opportunity for professionals looking to supplement their income or build a flexible contract portfolio. We are looking for reliable professionals who can step in confidently, manage challenging behaviors safely, and provide exceptional care.

Available Shifts & Scheduling

- Part-time contract schedules with a heavy focus on after-school hours, weekday evenings, and weekends (Saturdays and Sundays).

Key Qualifications & Requirements
- Mandatory Experience: A minimum of 2 years of proven experience working directly with children and youth with ASD, Autism, and IDD/DD profiles is strictly required.
- Required Credentials: Valid certification or diploma as DSW (Developmental Services Worker), an EA (Educational Assistant), ECE (Early Childhood Educator),



SSW (Social Service Worker), or PSW (Personal Support Worker). With experience with IDD/DD a must!
- Behavior Management: Must be highly knowledgeable and skilled in identifying, de-escalating, and managing challenging behaviors with absolute patience and safety.
- Contractor Status: Must operate as an independent contractor (responsible for your own taxes, insurance, and professional liabilities).
- Reliability: A high degree of accountability; our families depend deeply on consistent scheduling. Once a contract shift is locked in, compliance with our service delivery policies is expected.

Geographic Locations Contractors must be available to work or commute dynamically within their respective regional hubs depending on client locations:

- Toronto & York Suburbs: East York, Scarborough, North York, Markham, Richmond Hill, and Vaughan.
- Durham Lakeshore: Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, Oshawa, and Bowmanville.
- Ottawa Pockets: Kanata, Stittsville, Nepean, Centretown, Westboro, Alta Vista, Hunt Club, Barrhaven, and Orléans.
- KWCG Region Core: Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, and Guelph.
