Technical Project Manager - Data Operations

100% onsite in Kanata | Monday-Friday

About the Role

We are looking for a strong, hands-on project manager to lead the daily work of our Product Data team. You will manage priorities, assign work, follow up on deadlines, keep projects moving and make sure work is completed. This is management and project delivery first, but you must also understand databases, SQL, Excel and data quality well enough to investigate issues and work effectively with technical staff.

This is not remote or hybrid. You must already live within reasonable daily commuting distance of Kanata and be able to work onsite Monday-Friday from your first day.

What You Will Do

· Manage the daily work queue for the Product Data team, including Kanata and offshore staff.

· Set priorities, assign owners and due dates, follow up on outstanding work and hold people accountable for completion.

· Manage several projects at once, remove blockers, escalate issues and provide explicit progress updates to management.

· Track backlog, errors, rework and data-quality issues; investigate recurring problems and identify root causes.

· Use SQL, databases and Excel to review, compare, validate and troubleshoot data.

· Work with product, catalogue, fitment, SKU and structured data including CSV, XML and JSON.

· Coordinate with IT, purchasing, e-commerce, customer service, warehouse and other departments.

· Maintain procedures, training material and controls, and identify repetitive work that can be improved through automation or AI.

Required Skills and Experience

· 3+ years managing or coordinating projects, workflows,



operations or a team, including assigning work and following up until it is completed.

· Completed bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics, statistics, business analytics or a closely related field.

· Working SQL skills and solid understanding of relational databases, structured data and data quality.

· Advanced Excel, including PivotTables, lookups, formulas, large datasets and reconciliation.

· Strong project-management, organization and follow-through skills, with the confidence to challenge delays and keep people on track.

· Strong troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, attention to detail and judgment.

· Strong written and spoken English and ability to give clear instructions to technical and non-technical staff.

Strong Assets

· Python, scripting or automation; Power BI; ERP/PIM/MDM systems; Jira/Agile/Scrum.

· E-commerce, marketplace, product catalogue, master-data or automotive fitment experience.

· Experience managing or coordinating offshore or remote staff.

Selection Process

Selected applicants will complete a 45-60 minute TestGorilla assessment before an interview covering SQL/database knowledge, Excel/data analysis, project and team-management judgment, problem solving, attention to detail and written communication. Python/automation may be included as a bonus area, not a pass/fail requirement.

Pay: $41.00-$50.00 per hour
