The role
We're looking for an established Calgary technical sales professional to grow Arrival's operator relationships across Western Canada. You already know the drilling engineers, superintendents and procurement teams at Calgary operators. This role is for someone who can generate business from day one.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and grow operator accounts in Calgary and surrounding areas.
- Build strong relationships with drilling engineers, managers and field personnel.
- Track customer drilling programs, rig schedules and upcoming wells so Arrival tools are planned into upcoming wells.
- Present tool performance and BHA placement recommendations, and win trials and repeat work.
- Coordinate with field representatives.
- Provide a monthly forecast of your rigs and customers.
- Provide quarterly sales forecasts.
- Take part in weekly sales meetings and keep forecasts current in Arrival's Sales Flash system.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of oilfield technical sales, ideally in downhole tools, directional/MWD, bits, agitators or reamers.
- An established network with Calgary operators and a proven record of generating revenue.
- Strong knowledge of drilling programs, BHA design and wellbore dynamics.
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel within Western Canada.
