Join Work SafeBC as a Senior Psychology Advisor, specializing in psychological assessment and treatment for workplace injuries. This part time hybrid role engages in case consultations and provides clinical insights.
In this role, you will be an integral member of the Mental Health Services department, focusing on recovery and rehabilitation of injured workers. Your expertise in psychological reactions to trauma and workplace injury will guide interdisciplinary case-management teams.
Work with clients, healthcare providers, and your colleagues to support effective treatment plans and education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct collaborative case consultations with injured workers
- Write clinical opinions based on detailed file reviews
- Plan and monitor comprehensive assessment and treatment services
- Participate actively in team meetings
- Provide training on psychological principles to staff
Requirements:
- Graduate degree in clinical psychology or related field
- Minimum three years of experience as a psychologist
- Registration or eligibility with the College of Health and Care Professionals of B.C.
- Background in disability management or healthcare settings
- Ability to conduct psychological assessments in various contexts
