Duties
- Act as the primary point of contact for patients, guiding them through treatment options and scheduling appointments with enthusiasm and clarity
- Coordinate treatment plans by collaborating with clinicians, ensuring all patient needs are addressed promptly and accurately
- Manage electronic dental records using cleardent, maintaining precise documentation of patient histories and treatment progress
- Answer multi-line phone systems efficiently, providing exceptional front desk support while directing calls to appropriate team members
- Assist with administrative tasks such as verifying insurance information, preparing patient forms,
and processing payments in a timely manner
- Facilitate communication between patients and the dental team to ensure understanding of procedures, costs, and follow-up care
- Maintain a welcoming office environment by supporting front desk operations and ensuring smooth daily workflow
Experience
- Previous experience working in a dental office setting is ideal, especially in roles involving front desk or administrative responsibilities
- Familiarity with dental software is essential for managing patient data effectively
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology to accurately interpret clinical notes and communicate with providers.
- Proven ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently while maintaining professionalism
- Experience in office administration, including appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and data entry
- Excellent organizational skills coupled with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience as a dental receptionist and treatment coordinator is required.
