Job Summary The Collegeway Animal Hospital & Arc Animal Hospital are seeking a dedicated, full time Veterinary Assistant to join our compassionate and hardworking team. At CWAH and Arc AH, we pride ourselves on building trusting relationships with our clients and providing exceptional care to our patients.

We are looking for a motivated individual with a positive attitude who thrives in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates strong communication and customer service skills. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, dependable, and committed to contributing to a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist veterinarians during physical examinations, blood draws, and treatments
- Safely restrain cats and dogs
- Feed, walk, and care for hospitalized patients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the hospital and kennel areas
- Assist with social media posting and engagement

Qualifications:

- Completion of a veterinary assistant or animal care program (college or university)




- Experience handling cats and dogs preferred (must be comfortable working with cats and dogs of all sizes and temperaments)
- Prior experience in a veterinary clinic strongly preferred
- Comfortable working in a busy, high-pressure environment
- Experience with veterinary software is an asset, especially AVImark
- Available to work weekends as needed; flexibility with hours
