About us

Spark Forward Electric ("Sparkies") is a licensed electrical contractor in the GTA. Our founder, Eli, is a master electrician with 25 years in the trade. He's also building The Electrical Academy, an online training program for new electricians. We're building three social brands (Sparkies, The Electrical Academy, and Eli's personal brand), and we need someone to capture a lot of content, fast.

What you'll do

- Follow Eli on jobsites, in meetings, and while he teaches, filming behind-the-scenes and documentary-style short-form video
- Shoot vertical video for Reels, TikTok, Shorts, and LinkedIn, plus some photos
- Capture clean audio on loud jobsites
- Upload and organize footage by brand the same day
- Cut 3–5 quick clips per shoot (trim,

captions, ready to post). Our editor handles the polished edits.

What you need

- A reel or links to short-form work you've shot (required)
- Your own camera and mic (a recent phone with a positive lav mic is fine if the work is good)
- Basic editing skills (CapCut, Premiere, or similar)
- An understanding of what makes short-form work: hooks, pacing, captions
- CSA boots and comfort on active construction sites (we'll give you a safety orientation)
- A driver's license and your own vehicle

Why this job

- Real, unscripted content from a trade most creators never get access to
- Flexible scheduling that fits around school or other clients
- Steady ongoing work if the trial goes well

How to apply

Send your reel or 3 short-form links. In 2–3 sentences, tell us how you'd make a day on an electrical jobsite interesting to watch.
